Purpose

Every new tool starts from a known-good skeleton with CI, lint, auth, and deploy already wired.

The standard

  • [TEAM: org]/template-nextjs-supabase — web app: auth, RLS-ready schema, shadcn, CI, Vercel config, CLAUDE.md.

  • [TEAM: org]/template-python-tool — CLI/data script: uv, ruff, pytest, pre-commit.

  • [TEAM: org]/template-rhino-plugin — C# RhinoCommon plugin or Python 3 script package with build/publish tasks.

  • [TEAM: org]/template-revit-addin — C# Revit add-in solution with multi-version build, .addin manifest, installer script.

  • Templates are maintained by their owner (00.05); improvements go to the template, not copied between projects.

Procedure

  1. GitHub → Use this template → name per 01.05 → private by default.

  2. Run the template's setup script; it renames placeholders and creates .env.example.

  3. Fill CLAUDE.md project section (05.02) and README owner line.

  4. Connect Vercel / Supabase per 06.02 and 09.01 if it's a web app.

  5. First commit: "chore: scaffold from template-x @ ".
